Most are not western. Plantation culture isnt western, strong native culture influence or African influences are not western (and yes, i'm including murrika).
Not even the southern cone is truly western, the natives didnt had influence since they were in the stone age, but all the mediterranean influence was just deluted into post colonialism social structures. Modern argentina especially was denfined by political fuck ups more than for late immigration, Chile for the annexation of northern shitholes, and Uruguay is too tied to Brazil to ignore the afro-influence , afro not as a racial factor bur organization of trade and economy, having pretty old buildings doesnt make you western, or else peru and mexico would be as western as murrika.

Huge ass countries like Brazil or America and to a lesser degree mexico are their own thing with huge espheres of influence.
