No. But I believe humanity must work to avoid an apocalypse which will occur if we do not temper our desire for technological advancement. It is outpacing our ability to manage the ethical side of civilization.

Some time in the future humanity may need to put a hold on further advancement. That time will likely come when we reach the post-scarcity, post-disease, post-aging era. At that point further progress would be more of a philosophical pursuit than one that is born from necessity. We could stop for one thousand years to consider our future before moving forward.
