It's not hard to read because of the language, it's hard to read because of the font. I can still read most of it though.

300 years shouldn't be too much of a problem (I can read your pic though it's phrased in a way that might be difficult even to a native speaker).

learn French, don't waste your time with dead languages and if you do learn Latin, since it makes sense at least.
