Why is Estonia such a wonder of a country?! Only 25 years ago it was devastated by communist rule, but now Estonian people live better than Greece, Portugal and Italy, we're not even talking about ex-USSR.

Estonia is overrated

Other baltic countries aren't much worse. They just don't have "elder brother" among developed countries who could help them.

They never had access to Finnish(=western capitalist) TV. They started visiting West much later, while estonians are visiting Finland (=western developed country) since mid '80s.
