Not bad thanks.
Those were zucchini (courgettes) though, no pumpkins.
>>74345871
it's so easy to mistake buče (pumpkins) for bučke (zucchini) in Slovene. It's just an in-built vocab malfunction.
>>74346059
In french it's "courge" (pumpkin) and "courgette" (zucchini), literally "little courge".
For the pumpkin, the true pumpkin's name is "potiron" (courge being the name for the whole cucurbitacae family)
>>74346059
Btw I remembered zapping TV in Slovenia and I stumbled upon a programme called "Bučke" (voiced by Klemen Slakonja) that I found pretty poor.
We have such a programme called "Les guingols de l'info" (with real puppets and not 3d models) that used to be fun back in the days, but the humor is stretched pretty think right now.

Like a clockwork.
for me, it's Slovakia
>>74349465
Slovenia is comfy but never been to Slovakia.
I can only recite Bratislava, Košice and Banska Bystrica but I could not recognize a single town by their photo.
Slovakia is too far for me to visit, I guess. I always wanted to visit Prague but after the terror attacks in France I'm always a little worried about crowded places. I was in München last year and I got stressed out.
>>74350381
Czech Republic is as safe as it gets, my dude.
>>74350463
Yeah I know that it's a safe country, but it's a "big town" feeling I have now. People already living in big cities mustn't experience this, but people living in villages such as me are worrying too much nowadays.
Plus we are surrounded with muslims with scarfs and "ethnic" clothing, combine that with the presidential election and you'll get angry french, worried french, stressed-out french.
>>74350381
>>74350832
>muslims with scarfs and "ethnic" clothing
nothing like this on the east side of things
>>74350832

Oi lads, what would you advise a tourist to see on his first time to slovakia? I know you have a lot of hiking trails, but I was wondering more about your cultural and historical landmarks. Also, any special countryside sightseeing you could recommend?
>>74343665
cant unsee
