it's not so bad. if i'm granted a visa to live and work here after graduation then the cost will be worth it. one of my friends was unlucky however and after two years of college was stuck in china without his family. his parents were in america violating their visas while he was in china visiting his grandparents. now he can't leave china to see his parents and they can't leave america to go see him until they get citizenship here over maybe a decade

I've learned that loans get a bad rep in eastern Europe because a lot of people get them for things like expensive cars and vacations and can't pay them off, almost never for uni.

yeah, usually there's jobs on campus that they fill with students like working in the library, computer lab (like signing in and out people) or at your department. they pay really well and work with your class schedule. then of course, there's outside work

one of my friend worked at the library and it was a lot of down time where they just ended up doing hw and studying and getting paid for it cause it was duirng their job. i luckily didnt have to get a job when i was undergrad cause i was on full scholarship and stipend. ended up finsihing with money in my pocket

The best passport combination is the German passport + the Serbian passport because the German one will give you FoM in the EU, all of the Western/developed world, most countries plus a bunch of work/travel agreements with other states and Serbia will give you the remaining rarities: Russia, China, Cuba and KSA all together.

grades. i was selected to do a program before entering my first year. was only 40 of us, and we had to some classes that summer. it was really intensive and one of the class was an upper div class with a superstar profs husband-wife team. if you study physchology, you have read his and his wife's research. then it was extra money kicking in. they stopped doing this last i heard cause of budget cuts, so i was lucky tb.h.. then after first/second year, my gpa was high so the school kicked in a couple more bucks.

it helped that i didnt spend at all though. like, i would eat a parfait or a cheap chocolate bar and that would be my food for the whole day on campus that i would buy.
