It's nice. Very wholesome and tight.

It has some nice punches of comedy, but nothing spectacular. It gives a great sense of a functional family - it's what the Simpsons should've been.

Simpson's up to season 9 was amazing though. The current season doesn't evoke that same feeling you get watching the older episodes.

And early Simpsons is definitely better than Bob's Burgers.

But Bob's Burgers is just happier and less satirical. It also usually has pretty neat musical moments and offbeat comedy and weird references that aren't given much attention.

An /int/-related pun comes to mind, when a character calls the local furniture store "King of Sofas" as the "Ottoman Emperor", because of the name of the foot-resting things. That made me chuckle for a while.
