Is this why the United States has the best education in the world?
I would say that memetics would be an incredibly important area of study. It may sound silly, but studying the transfer of ideas and information can shed insight into various areas. For example:
>Similarities in various mythologies.
A lot of ideas and stories in the Christian Bible and various other religious texts can be traced back to older religions. One could say that creation myths were the oldest memes of them all. Perhaps the study of modern-day memetics could shed some additional light as to how these stories transferred between cultures.

Memes are a powerful to reach the masses, everybody likes cheap and retarded memes that appeal to them, look at Trump.
Without the appeal of many memes on the internet his younger underage userbase would be nonexistent.

>not turning your résumé itself into a meme

>Memes are a powerful tool to reach the masses
Look also at Hillary's case, she tried to use memes and failed hard because her group didn't know how to appeal with memes in the right way to it's audience.
>>74117552
I still don't know if this is an epic fail from Hillary's campaign, or a mind-blowing counter-meme by /pol/.
>>74117552
Oh, lots of them still hang around :^)
do you guys remember the CIA leaks where they had been developing a meme-warfare program?
memes used correctly can help control the minds of the masses by shaping opinions, views, and so on
