>Another reason why the omnipotence of wealth” is more certain in a democratic republic is that it does not depend on defects in the political machinery or on the faulty political shell of capitalism. A democratic republic is the best possible political shell for capitalism, and, therefore, once capital has gained possession of this very best shell (through the Palchinskys, Chernovs, Tseretelis and Co.), it establishes its power so securely, so firmly, that no change of persons, institutions or parties in the bourgeoisdemocratic republic can shake it

His voters are braindead 55-70 yo poor scum. There is a lot of them, they are generation of "soviet baby boom".

Much more of them than young people.

They werent bad from birth, hard life and amazing propaganda turned them into idiots.

They were lab rats.

Basically they were left without food and any money in '90s, then putin became president and gave them food.

So now they will praise him whatever he's doing.

Emigrate

It's the only path for a russian intellectual to save himself from brain cancer and depression.

If "motherland" doesn't need your work maybe new "motherland" will be more welcoming.

>>74112240

They don't want it

They want to buy brand Adidas and Tommy Hilfiger, drink craft beer, visit Spain every season but putin's state left them future.

NOBODY will start a communist revolution here.

Nobody will even genuinely go to Pro-putin meeting, they always hire people for 300 rubles or force government workers/students go there.

The apotheosis of modern stalinists is a Stalin's portrait in... pin-up style.

That's like if Europeans drew paintings about Crusades in a persian miniature style, or Opium Wars in traditional chinese art style.

Doesn't it sound absurd?

>>74112518

1) Polls are rigged
2) No democracy here so his "rating" isn't fair
3) Only 3/10 people agree to talk about politics, others refuse.

So basically even those who say "hmm yeah I support Putin" will NEVER fight for him.

>>74112518
I'm not sure, there are a lot of factors in polls, like russian people do not talk about politics as much as we do, it's some kind of taboo. Maybe only a certain type of voters agrees to take polls. maybe that's why they are somewhat biased, if not rigged
>>
Majority of Russians don't like Putin, but they are brainwashed with logic "If not Putin then who???"

/int/ards are not representative. You need to be at least somehow educated to shitpost in English and be interested in politics to post on this board.
Most coevals I personally know do not give a shit about politics. Those who are usually do not support Putin. So, based on my own experience I would say that most youngsters are liberals and would vote for Navalny. But this is wrong and misleading feeling. Many of thouse who are not interested in politics, don't read the news and play dota would probably answer that they like Putin if they were asked. It is just a general mood in Russian society, people hear only good things about him.

Those who chose to stay in russia in 1917 died in 1918-1937. ALL OF THEM.

Those who left russia died peacefully and lived longer.

If you don't want to pay Chechens money, fund Syrian/Ukrainian war, "people's republics", Russia Today with their $300 mln nice annual budget, Assad, experience bad treatment, there is no sense to stay here.

Here you have no property everything can be taken from you.

On the west you can pay taxes and live your life.

And your grandchildren will live in your apartments, nobody will demolish your fucking home only because land is expensive and you're not someone's son/niece.

Our society is an evolving structure. The changes are starting from the economical basis, which then influences the superstructure.
Without economical basis there can be no significant social change, no revolution.
For example, replacing the ownership over the means of production from private to cooperative, so every worker could hold an equal share and participate in the management of some facility.

You have to pay a fucking lot of taxes, much more than in Russia. Then these taxes are used to tell you how to think, and to feed African immigrants that hate you.

>And your grandchildren will live in your apartments
Maybe, if you can pay back the bank (you have to borrow money during 30 years to afford an apartment)... Maybe, if you were not forced to move away because Africans invaded your neighborhood... Maybe, if your children are not forced to sell in order to pay inheritance tax after you die...

Russia doesn't have the economy to do that. He is just trying to gain more influence in world politics. He wants to show the US/NATO that Russia can still be a thorn in their side and will have to negotiate with them.

They are just relying on their old Soviet military expertise which is much better than normal for a nation with their economy as well as old Soviet relations like the naval base in Syria.
