I sont really know much about them other than that they (or at least some of them and iirc their president) have an undue sense of superiority. Im sure the philipines is ok, i mean, besides singapore its the only place in southeast asia id want to visit (not including indochina).

This thread reeks of flips who bend the truth or talk in third person in order feel good about themselves.

Its alright, but to say that it doesn't have massive problems would be lying. Wouldn't mind living there on/off. The poverty to me is kinda negated by the creepy fact that when I visited it was like an enlarged version of the huge-ass family meetings that the Flip side of my family has whenever there's a social event.

South East Asia is a pretty turd world region but the Phillipines manages to stand out as particularly shitty.
