These days it's basically only hardwood. Maybe some tiles in places where it gets particularly dirty/wet.

I'm not sure about type of floors, I have equal parts: carpet (rooms), tiles (bathroom, entry, kitchen, laundry) and wood panels (rest of house). I reckon this combo is pretty common. But carpet is probably the most common overall.
