Their campaign did take undisclosed funds from large companies to fund their campaign, and that's illegal since it undermines democracy.
But what she was really impeached for was for taking what the legislative understood as illegal credit from public financial institutions. By delaying payment in the order of billions to public banks her government was masking just how bad the government finances were.
