Runö was a Swedish settlement for it's entire fucking history. Then Sovjeshits moved people onto it, and now the unique Norse language that developed there is dead. Estland had a Swedish People's Party even before Finland did, but now it's gone, and all Estonia-Swedes are either killed by Nazis or Sovjets, or escaped to Sweden.
Very sad.
