I've been using the RTK deck for almost 5 months now. There's only around 20% learning cards, the rest are all mature or suspended. I've been thinking of deleting this deck, since it's soon to be superflous once I progress some more with Core 6k. Should I delete it? Should I wait?

Deleting it sounds like a waste of effort.
In your shoes, I would start adding Japanese to the RTK cards for words you are learning. This way it allows from a transition to English to Japanese without potentially weakening or losing that writing from memory you've built up.
A few examples:
Say you know the word 原因 from the Core vocabulary deck, the next time you come across 原 in your RTK deck, with a new field added to the front of the card, something like

could be added, so you are also drawing from your vocabulary knowledge and kanji reading knowledge to associate with the character when doing the whole memory thing. It could be a transitional deck used to create stronger bonds between characters and readings/words with the added bonus of being able to write the characters.

Haven't been in northern Honshu. Heard there wasn't much there except cities like Sendai or the Fox Village. Still, I'd like to go in that area. Mind funding my ticket?

As for Hokkaido, it's quite a lovely place (despite being absolutely not resilient to the cold) and I think the people there are very nice. Still a bit expensive but there is MUCH to do there once you look a bit.

Ultimately it could have survived and be a decent thread if the autistic BR had not split the community by convincing the mods to let it be on /jp/.
