Anyone else feel "dirty" when hearing Spanish spoken? Everything about their language and culture just gives off kind of a greasy, dirty vibe. It's like the opposite of the feeling normie Americans get when hearing a posh British accent and thinking of having tea with the Queen or whatever. I took Spanish for 3 years b/c school requirements, and everything I learned about the language and the people who speak it just made me loathe it even more.

i've seen spaniards in my uni classes and they don't even sound like spanish, they sound like they're speaking german or something. It's so harsh and sharp-tongued, couldn't believe it was spanish.
