There were blacks in my university who averaged a 2.* GPA in high school.

If you're a black American who behaves in a somewhat human fashion, you essentially have your pick of whatever elite university you desire.

It sounds unfair, but it's actually not much of a threat to white or Asian students, since most blacks are incapable of even doing this.

That would be more in line with meritocracy in the sense that those with higher grades should get in, regardless of the financial status of their parents.
