The "we are not going to survive" meme is only that, a meme. No nation is unable to thrive and be prosperous per se. It is the actions we make the ones that can make it paradise or hell.

But creating a whole separated language category to create an indpendance movement make me extremely butthurt, and evenmore when you know that the ACTUAL "Occitan" speakers simply called their language "patois" and didn't try to pass it as a separate.
