No, BUT current mainstream fashion and a portion of high fashion seems to take a quite a bit of inspiration from black american culture. That's just the current trend, so makeup and surgery and models with naturally full lips are in right now. So is having a curvy (THICC) figure. Don't think tanning has anything to do with race (no one ever goes so far that they look black) but it's not unreasonable to make a remark about how ironic it is to see darker skinned people previously try to lighten their skin and now the the trend is to darken it.

No, not right now at least. In some previous years I'd say that was definitely the case especially if you were a black woman in a professional setting, your natural hair would be vilified. Even now if you grow out your natural hair I've seen white people ask the person if they're trying to make a (political or social) statement by having an afro. Funny and sad. Maybe since year 2000 there was a growing trend among black americans of wearing their hair in it's natural style. The chemicals, weaves, and extensions are way too damaging and expensive, so black women and men have dropped it and started learning how to care for their hair.

Now it's just a personal style choice, in the same vein of dyeing your hair a different color or getting a new or uncommon hair cut. I saw this cute af black girl in the market the other day she had this amazing half dreadlocks half straitened hair style, some of the dreadlocks were colored in muted tones of blue and red.. Hard to explain exactly how it looked but it was amazing, never seen anything like it, but I also think it was a great representation of what young black people are doing or could potentially do with their hair now.

Maybe I wasn't clear. Curvy has never been in high fashion and never will be, but the trend on social media and in urban environments is to have a coke bottle figure with a big booty.

Funny enough I think a good portion of Americans will probably end up looking like this 400 years from now, maybe a little paler leaning toward whiter features but definitely something distinctive so you'll be able to tell that a person is American.
