Do you mean in general or just here on /int/? I don't know much about how finns are treated in sweden but swedes and fenno-swedes in Finland are being treated pretty badly as I've understood it.
My brothers girlfriend is fenno-swede from finland and her mother tounge is swedish but she doesn't even feel comfortable speaking swedish openly when she's in Helsinki because people have been getting increasingly aggressive towards swedish there after Sannfinnarna began getting more power.

Parents want their kids to speak their mother tongue, and if the majority of their peers in the environment around them spoke in a different language then they would internalize that one, and lose their connection to their own native language.
