I live in a small town in a region with almost 5M people and with 26 homicides last year, what do you think?

The closest I've ever been to seeing a murder was driving by a closed off criminal investigation an hour after police shot a drugged nutjob beating people and vandalizing outside of a night bar.

Are they like normal people?
I only saw ~10 people shot and dying/died in front of me.
Also saw a car accident that hit a lady and made her fly.
I saw lots of dead ppl but that was the only action I got to see.
