Post a local dish from where you are from.
This is a French Dip Sandwich from Philippe's in Los Angeles. It is a roast beef sandwich that is served on a baguette and dipped in au jus. Philippe's has been in continuous operation since 1908: 109 years! If you ever go there, I would recommend getting your sandwich "Wet". That means that it is completely submerged in the au jus. You can also get a slice of pie with your sandwich if you want, as seen in the picture.

This one is from the state of Jalisco is called Torta Ahogada , deep fried pork, onion with spices, and a tomato sauce, it can be also spicy.
