What does /int/ think of Moscow? Is it truly "the most beautiful city in Europe"? Also, why do Russian cars look so old?

Same, big league.
It's difficult for me though because Russian govt *HATES* Brits. We get charged like triple the amount of money for visas than the rest of Europe.

I would love to go to Moscow tho.
>>
>>73192826
>It's difficult for me though because Russian govt *HATES* Brits
just don't say you're Brit?
>>
>>73192893
Well yea, but I more meant the visa thing.
It's very hard to justify Russia (altho I really want to go) when you add £100 ontop before even catching the fucking plane..

We get charged like triple the amount of other yuros (although I accept Russia is probably our oldest enemy)
>>
>>73192937
you need a visa to visit Russia?, the more you know, it applies for Brits only or for other Euro countries too?

I have never heard of it being titled the most beautiful city in Europe. It's not even thought to be the most beautiful city in Russia (nor should it be).
>>
>>73192937
We have "mirror" or whatever it's called visa policy, it's probably because you have stricter rules for russians too.
>>
>>73192967
Applies to all Europeans but we're not under the same immigration policy as the others, forgetting about Brexit.

Russia and UK beef goes back further than most countries even exist. So, it's.. Expensive. Plus I hear their security services fuck with Br*ts (maybe only the important/statist ones but still)

The only way in without a visa is via boat -> 72 hrs in StP. Not even enough time to do the Hermitage properly, but it's still kinda tempting.
>>
>>73193046
sounds fucked up tbqh, on the other hand I think we don't need a visa at all, but the price of the ticket alone prevent us to go, at least for most of us
>>
>>73193084
to most of us*
>>
>>73192937

Seems fair, British visa is GBP 67 or something here.
>>
>>73193046

Not sure they fuck with tourists/business travellers. We have an office in London, and people hop back and forth all the time.

The visas are pricy (and it's mutual), but no issues with security whatsoever.
>>
>>73193084
*to most of us
I think it's fair to say, if you were closer, visa policies might be... tightened, shall we say.
>>73193105
yeah I only saw the "mirror" thing after I posted, but it is a certainty than Brits get fucked with by FSB above and beyond what's required. I wish we could be friends, friend. Hasn't put me off wanting to visit either
>>
westernized piece of shit and a disgrace to

>>
>>73193148
Yes, well visa policy aside, Moscow and London are two of the most important cities in Europe, so it makes sense.

I assure you all of your devices at the very least are 0wned from the second you land with a R*s passport tho.

Not sure if I should be worried. I figure taking pictures of poorly dressed locals to later shitpost at 4chan is legal.

>>73193169

There's no such thing as friendsip between the cointries (especially when it comes to Russia/UK), but wr can at least be polite and nice while backstabbing each other.
>>
>Also, why do Russian cars look so old?
Why do American cars look so financed/leased?
>>
>>73193409
>(especially when it comes to Russia/UK)
At least you can admit (shitposting aside) this is legit beef. Pls dont photograph our lolis Ivan, not so much for security as much as decency, k? thanx. Baldy is a legit target. That's the Globe on Baker St btw right?

what are you smoking?
>>
>>73193506

Probably is. The center of London has too much streets to my taste, with dozen pubs at each. I can't do without citymapper. Of course I wouldn't be mocking girls.
>>
>>73193046
You need over a week to explore Hermitage desu.

I wasn't pretending to be a spook lah. I'm pretty sure we've opened the same doors before Ivan. Weird to think about. (And yes, the pub I think it is is in central/zone1 -- at the top end of Baker St by Madam Tussards) <3

>>73193552
Probably the best museum on Earth. ^^ and I only live a few stops from the British Museum.
>>
>>73192398
Well that looks like an old photo for one.
>>
>>73193620

I'm not trying to lose the tail either. It's just what pub crawling does to navigation and long term memory. It should be the pub you're talking about.

I hardly ever leave Soho, let alone zone 1.

I'd like to look at some genuine bad neighbourhood someday. Canning Town or something.
>>
>>73193810
>Canning Town or something.
Wew lad, you defo don't.
It's not so far from soho actually. 15 min walk from traf sq tops.

PM me your sisters VK or something idk :3
>>
>>73194014
*** The pub I'm talking about, not fuggging canning town, that is.

Canning town is.. How I say in Russian? Nigger town.

Yeah I got it. It intrigues me, see, probably, architecture there is better than the commieblock I live in. They ride hydrogen powered buses, and it's motherfucking London, but there's still a ghetto.

I think if I leave everything but an Oyster and a couple of notes in the hotel and buy some Adidas track pants I'm gonna be fine.

My sister's married.

Very few countries get automatic visa on arrival to Russia

And south america.
> for reasons
Our visa policy mirroring what others have on us. If EU made Russians visa-free travel we would give them visa-free access too. Simple as that. Putin proposed it many times.
>>
>>73194089
Of course you will.
We are what we are, and that is to say, bones and flesh.
The world is your Oyster (card) Ivan. I got one (You) out of the burger above your reply, how many were yours? :D

But seriously, of course you're gonna be fine. Even Canning Town or whaever is prob than Moscow ghettos. I would say hit me up, but no way :/ Just know, that most (EDUCATED, NATIVE) brits <3 russia, on some level anyway.

Chavs and Polish wanna kill you, but you can't please everyone, hey?
>>
>>73194159

It's not that bad though. My (married) sister applied for a French visa just not to sit at CDG for 12 hours on her way to Dublin, they gave her a 3 years one. Italians are nice, too.

Just don't apply for a visa through Baltic ''''countries''''
>>
>>73194219

Almost all of them were mine.

I didn't meet much chavs, but the Poles can pierdolę się.
>>
>>73194297
>I didn't meet much chavs
If you didnt' leave zone 2, no, you didn't, lmao.
Fugg no gay shit, I wish I had a Russian friend to show round, who could also show me round in Moscow.
(Brits say: MOS - COV btw, not fag yank MAAS - COW
>>73194272
>"""countries"""
nothing sinister about that, I'm sure!!
>>
>>73194297
>but the Poles can I fuck myself
okay
>>
>>73194272
oh 3 years thats pretty generous

The russian system for the EU is weird you need to contact an agency who pretends to invite you and then you can come. it seems like a huge meme
