It seems like it failed in what it wanted to achieve in making a very simple language to learn. Interesting idea that it combined the major languages of the world at the time (I've even heard there are Turkish and Japanese words in there but not sure), very interesting idea for a global language though.

Useless. Better learn a real language.

Someone made an updated version of Latin called Interlingua

They say they're a neutral global language, but it's actually a mix of spanish and italian with some weird foreign isolated words.
