The North is suburbs of New York, the South is suburbs of Philadelphia, the middle is suburbs of both.

The cities are terrible, especially Camden. Atlantic City gets a few tourists, but the only things you want to go are along boardwalk.

When I stayed there I stayed in a hotel that had no glass in the windows, they were just open to the world. If it rained it got inside and everything. This was about 20 mins from NYC
