They speak Hindi.They also assume that Hindi is the national language of India and everyone should learn to speak it.
Also they dirty.If you check the OD map of India you will notice that most of the open defecators are focused in the central area(these people also represent about 50% of India) while most of the south western states have improved access to toilets.
Only reason they are tolerated is because they agree to work for extremely low rates compared to South westerners most of whom prefer a white collar job.

Also it was Islam and British that unified much of the central region , before that they were all a bunch of various kingdoms.

Because they wanted the individual ethnic groups divided, it made (and makes) them easier to control.

There might be mixed telugu-kannada state in South. Probably no dravida Nadu. The rest is pretty accurate. 70 years gone but no invasion/migration from Northwest. I think this is rare in India's history.
