It's a stereotype that French food is good. I mean, it's alright, but definitely overrated as fuck. It's just peasant food tbqh.

Spain uses a fuckton of tomato and garlic, though.
Which is why all their food is either yellow or red, like their flag.

>>72929815
Sure, but you guys use a lot of tomato sauce that we generally don't.
The potatoes is about the same, I'd say, since we also eat tortilha.
>>72922224
ain't that the same as pancakes?
>>72929877
>since we also eat tortilha
I didn't know that
>>72929986
Probably not as much as Spain, but we do eat it sometimes.
Ours is a bit different, though, we use mushrooms and sweet corn and ham and egg and potatoes. Spanish tortilla is traditionally only with onion, isn't it?
Where we eat the most potatoes is just as a side, I guess. We eat a lot of fish, and fish is almost always served with potatoes cooked in some way.

That would be Italians. Paella uses saffron, gazpacho uses tomatoes, but beyond that I wouldn't say our cuisine is particularly yellow or red.
