I visited there in 1995, 2003 and again in 2010. I have family formerly living there. My grandpa moved out when someone shot at him at his office building window on the 5th floor.

The only part of Chicago that didn't look like a crime scene on the show Cops was the rich end in the north.

I will give you the skyline is the best and the city can get quite beautiful but the crime infestation and look outs at every street corner make the beauty moot.
