It's been about 8 years now.
How did the Financial Crisis of 2008 affect your country?

7 years ago the world stock market hit its bottom
Still hasn't attained the inflation-adjusted 2007 high.

GDP is still behind 2008 levels.
Public debt as a % of GDP rose from 33.9% in 2008 to 57% in 2013, and it's by 3rd quarter of 2016, it was at 61.6% of GDP. We're still running a deficit despite a conservative government, and the next one is likely going to be a center-left shit show.

Surprisingly not much. Somehow we still managed to have a positive economic growth.
Of course it doesn't mean we weren't affected at all, that would be stupid but it wasn't that bad.
