Literally not. The most striking was a guy I had in my class in the high school who was a fucking autistic who had zero notions of social interactions. He ALWAYS did something extreme cringe in the class, that even the teachers used to mock him.
He was a fat dude and always was in his tablet seeing anime related things. Some people had kinda fear of him, the rest just treated him as a disgusting daft.

Anime is one of those things that like entirely consumes a person. I've never met anyone that's said "ehh, i just watch a little anime every now and again." They're always full on man-children.
