I honestly have no problem with them. I do have my criticisms of Islam (oh boy do I), and with Abrahamic religion in general, but the frothing at the mouth "hurr death to all mudslimes" shit you see everywhere online nowadays is just... grating, and dumb, and tiresome.

All major religions* have horrifying shit in their texts. All major religions* are, if you follow their texts, misogynistic. Most followers of all religions ignore certain things (like all that stuff in the Old Testament about not mixing fabric or stoning unbelievers/adulterers or forcing rape victims to marry their rapists for like 50 shekels) in order to function in society and be decent human beings. I have no problem with Muslims, anymore than I do with Jews or Christians.

One person attributes divinity to Jesus, one person just thinks he was a super important dude and honors him alongside a 7th century merchant named Muhammad, and one person doesn't give a shit about either of them. Two of them don't eat pork**, one of them doesn't eat shellfish either and the other doesn't drink. One of them prays five times a day and (if female) covers her hair. As long as they act like decent human beings (and most do) I could not give less of a shit, and I consider anyone who wants to murder or persecute them for their beliefs to be a monster.

* Unless you count Sikhism and possibly Taoism as major religions.

The only Muslims I've ever met belonged to this category. Three Kazakh qts who didn't even wear scarves.
