Still, I don't think we'll see the tensions rise as high as OP fears, but then again, I was wrong about Crimea, Brexit and Trump, so I'll just wait and see.

As I said, I'm paranoid and probably just magnifying everything tenfold.. but still there is this feeling in the back of my mind, just looking at the history makes me feel uneasy...
