You can´t keep several dogs in the same cage and expect them to just lay there.
Our cultures have been splitted for generations, we have been at eachothers throats for hundreds of years. You can´t just forget that in a few decades.

And sooner or later there will be another conflict and it will always be that way. Telling a person to change is one thing, but telling several nations to change for the greater good is 99% impossible.
Maybe, there can be peace for a long time, but there can never be a "brotherhood".

I've always viewed it as white = american/south african.
Those places where there developed a need to differentiate between races. That just doesn't exist in Europe. The precise hue of someones skin is less relevant than if they are European.
