In Canada, it's illegal to smoke in a vehicle with anybody under the age of 18.
I have yet to see anyone actually get arrested from this.

I feel like young children in their developmental stages should be exposed to extended amounts of smoke to strengthen their immune system.

That doesn't happen. You can build up immunity to smoke. Start with let's say smoking 1 cigarette in a smalled, closed/sealed off car with a little child. Then move onto 2, 3 and more cigarettes at a time.
After a while the child's lungs will be resistant to the thousands of dangerous chemicals contained within cigarettes.

In canada , at least ontsrio ive beem to you cant even smoke on the porch of a caffe bar, wtf. I was standing outside on the street smoking cigarette like a outcast. Damn weird.
They never enforce a law when you are crossing the street while tere are no cars even if its red light or there is no road crossing mark of any kind.
