I think it is, I speak German and it's not logical.

For example the articles for various things are determined by the gender of the word, and not the gender of the thing. So "Das Mädchen" is the neutral girl. So she is an "Es" or an "it". Which makes sense if you view woman as objects. As they should be.

Backing up what this Anon says, I saw a study of a sampling of languages that compared morpheme density to average speed of speech.

Laymans terms, a language like Spanish takes on average more/longer words to convey the same information than in English, and it's perceived as being spoken faster to make up for it. A language like Mandarin Chinese takes fewer words to convey the same information, and is perceived as being spoken at a slightly slower rate.

All languages had a similar morpheme(info) to speed rate.

If English is not most logical form of language, I really can't understand why do we still internationally speak it. English has to be more logical language than Chinese since there is more people speaking it than english and there is no development towards to that people would suddenly start to speak Chinese.
If there is a word in other language that english does not have yet, it sure will be added to it.
