The big question I have about Swiss gun ownership is the use of the guns. Are they allowed to be used for self defense? I know in the UK you can get a permit for a shotgun but you aren't allowed to use it for self defense no matter what, even if a kebab has broken into your house and is threatening your family with a gun or knife.
