She is a russian nationalist. In 2014 Ukraine signed a law which banned Russian artists who support the annexation of Crima.

In 2015 she traveled to Crimea, which was against the law, but Ukraine can't exercise control over crimea, so they just ban her from entering.

It's also super obvious Russia chose a disabled candidate so people wouldn't boo her. Remember, 90% of the audience there will be Ukrainans, Poles, and other people who hate Russia.
