Fahrenheit is used secondarily in Mexico isn't it?

No, not at all. Even Kelvin is more used.

I've heard conflicting anecdotes now, it seems.
Spanish language TV channels here use fahrenheit for weather, and I started a thread once where I showed this off. A Mexican poster replied and said that Fahrenheit is sometomes used there too... Maybe it's only in northern border metros? He could have just been bullshitting me though.

The only time when I used it was during some chemistry and physics classes to do some conversion exercises way back in secondary school. I have visited several places in the North of Mexico and they also didn't use it at all. Never went to a border town, tho, but I am sure they don't use it either.
Why are foreigners so obsessed with America?

Nope, maybe every once in a while you see temperatures in Farenheit in a smaller size under Celcius, but it's always just mentioned in Celcius.
