I've worked out 3 days a week for the past 3 years and I read every day. Between college and my job, I work 50 hours a week. I tell myself I haven't had the time to meet new friends or girlfriends, which is largely true.

If you're genuinely depressed, than being in a different country won't help things.

If you simply can't find much joy In things anymore, than you have clinical depression and should probably see someone who'll help you get sorted out.

As they say, wherever you go you take yourself. Try to force yourself to fix the problems you see in your life. It may take a long time. If that doesn't work (you achieve what you set out to but are not happy), consider different goals or medication.
