Just hold the banana leaf on your palm.
Its meant to be portable food that you bring when going to the ricefields.
With a piece of chicken it usually costs about US $0.8-1 at hawkers or workplace cafetaria.
>>
Poor people in the USA eat Ramen noodle packages, pancake/biscuits from mix or scratch, boiled potatoes, shitty mac and cheese with powered cheese shit.

Also canned goods like condensed soup, spaghetti.

Basic sandwich stuff -- white bread, processed and real cheese, and lunch meat.

Fruit on sale, and bananas pretty much anytime. You can get a pound of bananas for like 59 cents at a lot of places.

>>72605701

It fucking sucks.

Oh, sorry, it makes a much higher calorie count in actual biscuits. But that's the calories the mix contributes. The rest of the calories comes from the buttermilk you mix with it.

In the past, yes. You just need potatoes, eggs and onion. Beef and most fish were just too expensive.

Nowadays tortilla is almost the national dish of Spain, there's even snobbish contests about it.

Yup, it's cap i pota.
It's chickpea(not always, but it's a good and cheap way to extend it) cow tripe, cow head, cow feet, chorizo, bay leaves, some greens if you want and paprika slowly stewed. You can add other things, like morcilla, brisket, butifarra... It's pretty common in bars. Also I used to take leftovers and mix it with pasta or rice for a fast meal at nights.

Can be found anywhere in the wild even in the side of countryside streets, it's healthy and costs literally nothing, a staple of Greek cuisine especially in the summer when it is eaten cold. What I like to do with my pasta is either mix it with cheap flaked tomato tuna, or mix cheap Sardina with tomato sauce and sliced paris mushrooms. The eternal minced meat and tomato sauce always cheap and good nutrition good too even without cheese.

Yup, living inside Paris is just too expensive for a student so I stick to the suburbs/banlieue for now. And life in Paris is really different from the rest, so don't think it's representative of the whole country. Life in the southern half of France can be really peaceful and comfy; it really is heterogeneous. Thing is, this country offers many opportunities for those who have the courage to take them and the will to stick to their decisions through the hardships, living here isn't as easy as elsewhere but in the end the efforts are worth it.

What does cabbage puree taste like?

What's that brown-ish thing on the right? Some kind of meat?
>>
>>72621231
Heeeey, that's our golubci, not your krautwicked
>>
>>72662465

sounds yummy.

I suppose the counter part of blue whiting
--in terms of the pricing-- in far east may be
Alaska pollock.
>>
>>72660892
it's delicious. the tuna isn't cooked, because the dish is served in layers, (that is, rice, tuna and eggs, rice) the rice just heats it up. Although some people, me included, like to put a little olive oil on top and leave it on the oven for a few minutes just to give it a bit of a crust, pic related
>>
>>72623070
looks fuckin delicious.
>>72623085
Never had this specifically, is it a southern thing? MN poorfag here and all I eat is hashbrown, cheese, egg.

(it's the endless cabbage war ::: lol)
>>
>>72663900
>golubets
>Kyabetsu
Seems quite similar. Is not it just adaptation of «golubec» to the Japanese pronunciation?
>>
>>72663438
Just like boiled and mashed cabbage is supposed to taste, not really good. On the right it's meat and bread cutlet (meatball?)
>>
>>72623612
McDonalds is expensive here, but for some reason it's always full.
>>
>>72657198

>>
>>72664450

THIS! For the same money here you can cook something tasty and natural for a whole day. I don't understand retards who goes to eat to MD.
>>72664575
>can you name some real poorfag foods?
Almost each dish you cook home. For example, for ~350 rubles you can make golubci for 4-5days.
>it's bydlo beer and laughed at me
Is slighty shitty here, dunno maybe export version is better.
Anyway I bet she never tried it and drinks the same shit but from foreign brand

Is that food the most famous korean food in russia?
I have heard that russians called kimchi as korean carrot
>>
>>72664054

Yep , it's possible. But implausible.

Possibility: Japanese castaways(drifters)
encountered Russian authorities in early 18 century. They learned Russian language
(and enjoyed Russian beautiful dinners at
the Imperial court!)

Implausibility: Cabbage was introduced
to Japan in later half of 19 c. Not from
Russian empire. The word Kyabetsu
was deprived from, maybe, English.

Looks good, probably tastes better than that retangular white bread.
>>

Stop memeing your first-wordler microwaveable frozen food and fine meats with fresh produce on baguette sandwiches.
This is what real poorfags eat.

Kimchi is called chimcha. Korean carrot is spicy pickled carrot. Sometimes tofu skin or cabbage ia added to it. Every supermarket has "Korean salads" stand but I guess half of these salads are not known in Corea.
