Some girl whom I was friendly with took advantage of a certain personal situation of mine to isolate me from everyone and then tried to date me after she rejected me a bunch of times, then went ultra-ballistic when I said no.

I studied geology. You should be able to tell when the volcano is about to erupt if it's being monitored closely, from months in advance, to days in advance at minimum. Just make sure to have an evacuation plan for everyone.
