Well anon, making a newspaper is a really specific job. On Thursday I start making newspaper which comes out on Monday. It's 8 page newspaper, I do pages 3,4,5,6 on Thursday-Friday and then the cover pages (1,2,7,8) on Monday. Yesterday I did 3,4,6, and today I only had 5th left. So technically I finished what I had to do in like one hour, kek. I even did 70% of 8th so I will have less work on Monday. Also, my coworker is sick and I did half of her job as well and I still have nothing to do for the upcoming 2 and half hours, I end my job at 15:45. It's really chill after Wednesday and brandy is from my aunt's birthday which we had at work.

I'm autistic too, but you don't have to talk much if you don't want to, and people working at tourist sites usually can speak basic English. Most of the talking I did was to nigger naggers around tourist sites who constantly HEEYYY MY FREND you and try to sell you some useless shit, so you constantly have to tell them to fuck off.

Tbh best places are outside of tourist routes, all those side alleys with old villas are very comfy to even just walk through (but some are inhabited by cigany gangs so you need to pay attention to your surroundings).

This is bar none the worst part of Italy, it's like that in every single city there, always trying to flog fake purses and shoes and shit on you, I don't know why the police and government doesn't do anything about it.

The best part of visiting Italy is definitely just going off the beaten path and going to the parts of the cities where the locals actually live. The comfiest walk I ever took was through the emptier parts of Venice, where there were just old women looking out of windows and kids out in the street playing football and stuff.

I played around a bit and yeah, the societies are pretty much what it adds, although there is also a feature where you can convert to liege's religion but keep practicing your old one in secret. From what I've read, this DLC focuses too much on supernatural stuff (the Satanist Cult especially). It seems like they now just try to milk as much DLC money as possible from a game that was basically finished long time ago (I think that CK2 reached its peak at the Old Gods/Abrahamic Religions DLCs, and went downhill from there after Rajas). They really should focus their resources on new products, because CK2 and EU4 are simply getting overbloated by features from DLCs, that usually just introduce some abstract mechanics and don't really change the way you play the game anymore.

They could totally do this though, for instance, they've already shown with Victoria 2 that they can simulate global population migration, racial and cultural demographics, and an entire global economy. They could just keep releasing new titles and build upon the great ideas they develop each time a new title comes out, whether it's Victoria, EU, or HoI, but instead they randomly drop them or keep them isolated to one IP.

Population migration is pretty straight forward there historically - Everywhere -> America, bonus for democracies. It's really not that in-depth.

Culture is honestly also handled pretty rigidly. 'Pop has Culture A, there's a chance it will flip to B'. Doesn't seem any less bare-bones than EU's 'province has culture A, you can change it to B'. Both systems lack any sort of cultural development simulation, a bit like CK2 where for example Norse splits into the Scandinavian cultures, but more dynamic and less arbitrary

Combining all features into one game would just result in a bloated overly complex behemoth of a game. I think it's better if each IP has a 'focus' and sticks to it, because changing it leads to clusterfucks like HoI4, where warfare was radically simplified in favor of focusing on resource and production management, but that's not fleshed out and very basic because they have literally no experience in it.

In this respect, I think they are building on past successes and experiences (Pre-HoI4). EU4 on release was in most respects just EU3 on a modern engine with all the expansion features integrated, which I think is the only proper way for PDX to make a sequel warranted. I do think that time for that has come for CK2, remake the game on a new engine with all DLC features.

What I am missing from grand strategy genre is a good modern geopolitical simulator, like Masters of the World or Superpower 2.

Would love to mess around as US with middle east again, join EU as something like Belarus or nuke everyone around me as Israel. Shit, Geopolitical Simulator 2 was comfy even when it's buggy as hell.

I've always told other Americans who want to go to Europe not to do this for that exact reason, glad you don't get offended by it but I can definitely see why it would be offensive or condescending to some people since it's taught in school everywhere it might come off to them like somebody saying "wow, you're really good at math" or something.

I lived in the Czech Republic as a small kid and was amazed at how many people spoke English now when I visited last year, though. It was really uncommon when I was there but I guess now the generation that grew up with it being taught in school have taken over.

Wendish Empire is the best choice I guess, I like the colour. You ought to expand into that direction anyway if you play like me. I started in 1066 as Count of Olomouc in HRE, then killed my brothers who had other counties, then grew stronger and waited until HRE is in turmoil/civil war and declared on them. With help of mercenaries I managed to defeat them and become independent, making my way through marriages to inherit Poland.

Right now I had a really great luck, King of Denmark was really young and his heir was some girl who was also not adult. My lunatic guy had died and I was now underage ruler, I married the young female heir of Denmark and plotted to kill current king which I did. So my wife is now Queen of Denmark, I am Emperor of Wendish Empire and my son will inherit them both.

finished my first autoškola lesson today

Thankfully the guy teaching me is not a psycho, even when i screwed up something he didn't scream or make a scene, so i'm really happy about that.

I also finally learned how to do rozjíždění, which was giving me a lot of trouble, so i'm pretty happy about that, i even drove in the city today, which was kind of suprising for me, since it was my second time ever driving a car

The interesting thing is that i wasn't really nervous about it, it seemed pretty fun actually. My next lesson is tomorrow, so we'll see how it turns out
