We are basically told that both world wars were Europe killing itself slowly and painfully until America showed up and annihilated the axis, because USA already had given fucktons of supplies to the allies who still couldn't defeat Germany

We only ever cared about Australia ,NZ and Canada and we are fine with them, theres a move to re-introduce free travel too.

Africa was just mines and a few farms , the only time Africa was in the public consciousness was with the Mau Mau rebellion in Kenya which pisssed off rich people with farms but now we go there on safari again, the rhodesia stuff with thousands of pissed British farmers coming back here is something that has actually stuck with us, and the end of apartheid with thousands of pissed Saffers coming back here has mixed reactions due to left vs right but we still go there on holiday.

So apart from Kenya, Rhodesia and South Africa (and to an extent namibia) literally nobody cared/ cares or knew/knows about Africa. There is somewhat of a sentiment that we should run it because they dont know how to however.

As for India, we actually know a little bit about the Raj due to the presence of curry and the curry peoples but nobody cares that we were there, nobody regrets that we went and nobody regrets that we left.

Nobody knows or cares about the South American colonies

Nobody knows or cares about the Asian colonies with the exception of Hong Kong which is a source of contention

We like the carribean but dont care enough to regret not having it as we go there on holiday anyway


We are however in the process of colonising spain, our underclass and middle class has taken to it enthusiastically.
