Very well done and very interesting background. I'm surprised your genetic results differ so much from your paperwork research of your ancestors though, however then again, DNA sciences are not 100% accurate and are still very much a new science.

The British must be my German. The Caucasian and ME is common in Italian DNA apparently

Yeah the British must be not you being 15% British, but more so British being 15% you, if that makes sense. Basically a thorough common ancestry with English people - aka the Anglo-Saxons no doubt.

Also Sicilians have quite a lot of Middle Eastern influence, no wonder they're stereotyped (and are) often darker in appearance. I did a big 15 page paper on Sicilian Medieval history a few years ago, and that was what I found out.
Makes sense too. Even the earliest we often here with Sicilian history is from the Carthaginian Wars against Rome.
can anyone post the empty version

if you look in the archives for heritage threads, you'll find one within a few minutes.

Though my recent ancestry is not Sicilian
The caucasian is supposedly from an ancient migration of neolithic farmers

That would make sense too of course. The DNA tests go further back than we regularly think.
On that note, idk about you, but I hate that bullshit ancestry.com advertisement I saw which told people they were "25% this, etc that, and so on" and it showed them being all emotional and shit. Like the tough cockney accented Brit, who said he didn't really like Germans and then the test and the people are like "hurr durr you're 25% German!" and he laughs.
Load of shit. if he was really 25% German, he'd have a grandparent from Germany... using data from his ancient genetics doesn't mean shit.

It's weird, on Ancestry.com my relatives on my mums mum side are all Irish up until the early 1800's yet I'm only 6% Irish according to DNA... Bit suss desu.
