Turkey considers any country capable of feeding their people, a banana republic
>>
>>72214349
Wtf I love the Netherlands now
>>
>>72214349
>Turkey lecturing on democracy
I hate Turks so much
>>
>>72214349
It means that there are elections in Turkey
>>
Didn't he call them nazis yesterday?

The whole thing was just a simple political tactic. He didn't care about the 40,000 Turks or whatever in the Netherlands. He just wanted to fire up the millions in the country over a non-issue with a peaceful nation that didn't want to abet his power grab amendment.

>turkey LITERALLY thinks affording bananas means banana republic
>>
>>72214349
>hue hue

btw from all this news, i can conclude something
>Turkey will held a referendum soon to change their constitution
>this referendum is including of vote from oversea turk too
>so because of that, turk foreign minister had a tour to several euro countries, especially the one with many overseas turks living
>but suddenly some euro countries ban his visit, they said "a sanction for russia cooperation"
>another purpose for this ban is probably they don't want turkey vote "yes" in referendum
>but then again, this thing is not allowed like international law said
>erdogan is so pissed, think this is act of a "nazi" thing
>while himself a bit dictatorship
>meanwhile most of right wingers in europe use this issue and tension as their campaign

tl;dr
Euro play a bit Nazi because they don't want turkey dictatoship referendum
>>
>>72214776
thats retarded, because this will unite turks against their common enemy europe and erdogan will win referendum

>but suddenly some euro countries ban his visit, they said "a sanction for russia cooperation"
The official reason was because of safety; it could have lead to tension between pro and anti Erdogan groups which then would lead to work for our police force, something we aren't exactly excited about.
The real reason is that we have elections in 3 days and literally everyone hates Erdogan (except some T*rks here). We took the bait bigtime but everyone here is glad we did.
>>
>>72215026
Because Dutch have their own election and they wanna appear as strongman to steal votes from right-wing populists
>>
>>72214776
>they said "a sanction for russia cooperation"

No, simply because we do not want his ministers having rallies here and causing trouble. He was allowed to have a small rally at the Turkish ambassador's house but they didn't want it.
Also we didn't simply ban the rally. The landing rights for the Turkish foreign minister (who wanted to have a rally in Rotterdam) were revoked. Turkey sent another minister by car from Germany to the consulate in Rotterdam, but she was considered an unwanted alien and basically got arrested by our main anti-terror police unit and escorted back to Germany.

i don't know about dutch, but some europe countries said because of that russia thing
>>
>>72215334
I don't think any other country really banned any rallies though, at most some locations pulled out due to "safety concerns"
