Is estonian grammar any different from finnish?

Currently I'm learning Spanish (advanced, so I just mostly read books and expand my vocabulary rather than trying to get a hang of it), Japanese (kanji is consuming most of my time, but it's enjoyable, grammar seems pretty understandable so far) and I'm just starting out with Arabic. Any tips for that one?

This was my problem when learning Japanese. Since the verb is always at the end, by the time the sentence is finished and they have moved onto the new sentence I'm still trying to figure out what was said. It got easier with time. But not knowing what action actually took place until the very end of the sentence confused the fuck out of me.

It basically gives you lessons in the form of written content. The text can also be read out to you. Words that you don't know are flagged as blue (new words). You can rate the words as unknown or know, or to narrow it down even more on a scale of 1-5. You can also import entire text into it too, so you're reading only what you feel like.

Basically, if you find learning a language easier by listening and reading to meaningful content (as opposed to a list of words), then it's quite good. Use it as a supplementary learning source though.

Started French using Duolingo a few days ago. Although I will continue the French language and Duolingo are both shit.

I'm only up to the early nouns (like food and animals) and Duolingo already doesn't have voice audio for some of them. It also doesn't explain shit at all like conjugation, you just have to work them out yourself.

French is also retarded. Why all these conjugations that serve no function at all?

duolingo is a good start,you learn some vocabulary but at some point you need to move to something more effective. Personally i use what i found on /t/ for russian. And yeah the robot voice is not helping, human brain memorise better with human voice

Japanese is really easy in spoken form, but kanji is what makes things difficult. The biggest problem is writing system, but it is not that hard if you will realize the main idea of iconographic characters. Japanese writing is just a hard rebus.

Books you've already read in your native language, start reading them in your target one. You'll already know what the book is about and what the characters say, so it won't be a big problem.

As for Italian, I think it's pretty good, but that might be from a French point of view.
