Most Professional stadiums all have roofs above the spectator seats, college stadiums such as that don't have roofs because they need to hold 80,000-120,000 people. That is the LA Memorial which was built for an olympics and then used for colleges (primarily UCLA and USC, two big prestigious schools) as well as NFL teams sometimes.
