It's definitely delicious but there's practically only 1 variety of it.

It's very good, but it's not the best, not in depth and not enough ingredients/spices to be "the best.

I have been to pic related a bunch of times, I like the fact you can actually order it spicy there, and it's actually spicy. It's amazing how averse most japs are to spicy food.

I mean I travelled all around japan and went to many restaurants, including specialty curry places (not just fast food places) and the flavour is always extremely similar, curry udon, squid ink curry, vegetarian, they all taste much the same. As opposed to Indian where they have a billion varieties of curry.

And I've made jap curry before, but from a packet. tbph I have no idea what would go into a japanese curry if you made if from scratch.
