Not Canadian but it's better for recycling and not to mention it's cheaper. We have both here, majority buys bagged ones but you can choose if you feel like paying around 50% more for the same fucking milk just because it comes in a box.
In the past 2 years we've been buying box milk at home though because in Brazil it's something like 0,60 bucks a box while Uruguayan milk is 1(it's the opposite if you go brazil, they sell our milk really cheap too), since we buy them by the dozen it's much cheaper not to mention easier to store but of course 90% of the country doesn't live 10 minutes from brazil.
