He didn't claim Polish isn't ugly. Just pointing out the irony in a German calling another language ugly.
Speaking of ugly languages, Dutch is a retarded, mongified form of German and is, rightfully, dying off.

>>72003700
Dutch is... actually I don't even know.
I don't think I've ever heard spoken dutch before.
For that matter, who the fuck even speaks dutch anyway?

That's not ironic

It's not a meme, every single Dutch speaker I know have said they prefer English over Dutch. With the majority of young people from the Netherlands and Belgium being fluent in English at a young age and English being the more dominant language. This is especially true considering the vast majority of young people in your country using the internet for prolonged periods of time.
Dutch is dying off, just accept it.
>>72003901
A flooded micro-nation and 60% of Belgium. It's a useless, dying language.

No one cares about Dutch.
We're here to discuss how idiotic German is.

We use this word. It means "playing".
>>72004643
You use gra and Czech use hra. Serbo-Croats pronounce it word (on the first syllable). It's tough speaking the most archaic Slavic language of them all and watching how other languages twist our beautiful Slavic words (gracie - have you gone Italian, lol)

>>72005050
There needs to be one for temporal too. And a few more.
pic related.
Also our language is literally continuing to develop new cases as we speak :^)
The newest one is -i, and it's not even on the chart yet. it's meant to convey cutesiness and friendliness. You just arbitrarily cut off a word randomly, and add an -i at the end.
Uborka - Ubi
Narancs - Nari
Orbán - Orbi

As a matter of fact, that's exactly where our relatives are, lol, near the arctic. Samoyedic languages are distant relatives of ours, like Finns and Estonians.
>>72006871
Actually that's a loanword we took from Khazakhs ~1500 years ago. Originally it was kök, and it means blue.
>>72006236
Are you talking about the diminutive? It exists in German, too, but it's not a case:
>das Haus → the house
>das Häuschen → the little/cute house (nominative case)
>des Häuschens → of the little/cute house (genitive)
>>72002899
I'm almost certain that spanish has more
>>72002899
This picture shows how superior their language is. Flexible, versatile, expressive. God bless Slavic languages.
>>72007566
Yeah we have diminutive too, this is the official one:
Kutya - kutyácska (the little/cute dog)
Ház - házacska (the little/cute house)
Madár - madárka (the little/cute bird)
But the -i form is becoming reaaaally popular too. It's like, the old one is not "cute" enough, so our language is trying to invent a new case to make it extremely cute. It's weird.
Though we can't use it for everything...yet? Like, most fruits, vegetables, certain foods and animals, are game, but you wouldn't use it for...I don't know, a table. Inanimate objects.
>>72008439
>Though we can't use it for everything...yet? Like, most fruits, vegetables, certain foods and animals, are game, but you wouldn't use it for...I don't know, a table.
Yeah, this happens in German, too. Some words just don't go together with the diminutive (but table is fine though). I kind of like Hungarian, to be fair; would really like to speak it but I don't really have the time to learn it…
