Indeed we don't have a native word for toilet, the history behind it is that taking a shit was considered very dishonor and a shameful display during samurai period, and people hesitated to mention the place they do it. It was often said in the same manner they do with Voldemort in Harry Potter. Only after the modernization did we adopt the word toire (toilet) instead of traditional 'You-Know-Where'.

Oчкo is ambiguous.

It can mean toilet or WC in certain areas, not just the butthole.

E.g. a common vulgar phrase "дpaить oчкo" refers specifically to that meaning.

This connotation exists due to the fact that the word was used to refer to any kind a narrow hole.

Wikipedia has a multiple choice redirection for "oчкo", among which there is "тyaлeт" (toilet).
